FAVORITE HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS COACH

I still remember Coach Ken Coudret. It was my freshman year, and he stopped by the house on a Saturday and encouraged me to try out for the wrestling team. He even offered to give me a ride to school for practice. I agreed, then proceeded to beat the varsity wrestler and ended up winning four varsity letters in the sport. Coach Coudret, of course, was most famous for coaching Hall of Fame Miami Dolphins quarterback Bob Griese, who was two years ahead of me in school.
Yeah, we all have stories to tell. And when it comes to popular local coaches, our readers most often mentioned Coach Charlie Hall, who has rejuvenated the football program at AHS over the last couple of years.
