It’s a demanding job, but someone has to do it. Not only are you expected to pour beer, but you also have to know how to make weird drinks like Rusty Nails and Sidecars. On top of that, you have to be part comedian and part pop psychologist, plus you have to know when to cut people off so that they don’t drive home drunk.
When it comes to bartenders, our readers were able to name 17 in this category. Pouring his way to the top was • Tonie Stewart at Alex’s. Tonie moved to Ashland in 1995 from Colorado, and has been bartending at Alex’s for the last four years. Other favorite bartenders included:
