FAVORITE GAS STATION
With gas at over $3 a gallon, a few people thought this category was an oxymoron. But it’s not the gas stations’ fault and most people recognized that reality, naming both the Lithia Way 76 Station downtown and the ARCO Station on Ashland Street (right before the Interstate) as their favorites.
Others high on the list were:
• Ashland Hills Shell.
• A-Tech 76.
• The Lithia Way Texaco Station and the Ashland Street Texaco.
• Valley View 76.
• The Astro Station downtown (where Eufloria is).
