FAVORITE LOCAL RESTAURANT OWNER

Amazingly, our readers were able to name 24 different restaurant owners in the category, a testament to how much we appreciate all the hard work they do.

Eking out a win in this year’s voting was the Stan at Bruno’s Pizza, 2105 Roberts Rd. Stan looks at Bruno’s Pizza as entry-level job training for teens that just happens to have a food service on the side. Stan has employed 2,342 teens since opening the doors to Bruno’s in 1989.

The list included:

• Vinny of Vinny’s Italian Kitchen.

• Pat at The Zone.

• “The Guys” at Porters Dining at the Depot.

• Sheri Cain-Westerman, Sophia’s Soup Factory.

• Tom at Jackson Creek Pizza.

• Harlan Ward, Grilla Bites.

• Brent Kenyon, The Wharf.

• Chris Dennett, Elements.

• Andy & Dan LaFond, Deli Down.
