Every waitress and waiter has this recurring nightmare. They’ve just landed a job at the White House, and their first assignment is a state dinner for the President of France, Nicholas Sarkozy. He orders something in French and you have no idea what he said, but it sounded like “macaroni and cheese.” When you deliver it to his table, he screams “Sacré blue! I said I wanted the broiled cow testicles! You Americans are all idiots!” So you go back to the kitchen, get the cow testicles, and dump them on his head. Then you wake up!
Kind of got off track there, but that’s what happens when you write enough of these intros. Anyway, our readers certainly appreciate the local waitstaff, as they mentioned 26 different people in this category. Winning this for 2010 was Tiffani Gonzalez at Jackson Creek Pizza in downtown Medford.
