POLICEPERSON WITH BEST STREET PRESENCE

If you want to command respect on the street as a police officer, you can’t be walking and talking like Barney Fife. There’s a certain look of confidence and coolness, plus the verbal patois, that can convince even the most hardened criminal to at least listen to what you have to say. Like, for instance, “Up against the wall, bonehead!” Just kidding about that last part, but I’m sure you understand what I mean.
