BEST NEW BUSINESS IN TOWN (LAST YEAR)
My favorite malapropism of President Bush is when, while talking to a group of businesspeople about how the U.S. economy was so much stronger than that of France, he said, “I don’t think the French even have a word for entrepreneur.” Adieu, Georgie.
Meanwhile here in Medford, we have plenty of entrepreneurs (from the French word for “enterprise”). Leading the way for 2010 was The Curiosity Shoppe located at 2287 W. Main Street and owned by Aaron Evans and Bryan Simpson. The Curiosity Shoppe has over 50 vendors and offers a wide range of collectibles, antiques and furniture.
